Meet Our PTFA Members
Introducing our new Chairperson, Grace Fletcher
Mum of Ellis in Willow Class, Grace has been supporting the PTFA for the last 12 months. Along with experience in management from her full time job as a General Manager for a worldwide manufacturer, she brings to the role 10 years’ experience in the entertainment industry, and is actively involved in fundraising events. “I’m really looking forward to my new challenge as Chairperson for the PTFA. We have a fantastic number of committee members this year to support the PTFA and I’m excited to see what the new year brings. We welcome any supporters of the school to get involved, even just to share ideas. What starts as a small idea, could well transpire into our next big fundraising event”
Next up is our vice Chair - Mum to Sebby in Willow Class, Claire is new to the PTFA and brings with her a wealth of experience supporting local community groups both organisationally and as a fundraiser. As a trustee at a local Charity funded Nursery school, she is passionate about helping to enable settings to get the best possible resources and equipment to support all children in their learning.
Clare is mum to Isobella and Archie, I’ve been a nurse in the NHS for 20 years. For the past 10 of those I’ve worked in Senior leadership roles. I have experience of organising events having solely organised summer fayres for Shropshire Charity events.
I am the committee’s publicity officer so will be filling your newsfeeds with details of all the wonderful events for the coming year! Apologies in advance!
The next member of the committee is Julia our PTFA secretary. Julia has supported the PTFA for the past 4 years, she has a muck in and help attitude, which is always a great help with our events! Julia says ‘I’m really looking forward to having a role this year on the committee and working with other parents to raise as much money as possible for the children at Sheriffhales school’ outside of work Julia loves dogs and children -
Not necessarily in that order!
This is Nicky, mum to Harry and Oliver. Nicky works as a Quality Assurance Manager and we are delighted that she has stayed on the committee as Treasurer for what will be her third year. Nicky has lots of experience having supported the PTFA for the past 7 years! Nicky says “I am really looking forward to working with the new committee and I’m over the moon at all the new faces and ideas”
