Willow's New Shoots!

Willow Class have really enjoyed their first full week back at school. We have started our new topic- Inventions, and have enjoyed exploring this within our lessons. This week we have enjoyed working in teams creating a theme park ride linked to the book Tom's Magnificent Machines, we had some amazing inventions!
In English we have been exploring instructions using the traditional tale The Elves and the Shoemaker. We have created some tiny elf clothes, decorated them and used instructional language to explain how we did it. Today we went into the playground to create some elf traps using various play equipment. Next week we will develop our plans in more depth and write a set of instructions- How to Catch a Shoe Elf! We look forward to sharing our work with you all.
