Trips and Residentials

There are plenty of trips for children to go on during the school year.  Most of these are directly linked to the curriculum the children follow and are for a half day or a day.  The PTFA often help out by subsidising transport costs.  Parents and governors sometimes come along to share and enhance the children's experience.  Below are just some of the places we visit:

  • Warwick Castle

  • A working farm

  • The Barber Institute

  • The Big Bang Show

  • Attingham Park

  • Pantomime or Winter Theatre Show

We take a graduated approach to residential trips.

  • Y5/6 spend 4 or 5 days abroad at an activity / cultural centre

  • Y4/5 spend 3 or 4 days at an activity holiday in England or Wales

  • Y3 and below may be offered school sleepovers or camping subject to parental interest and involvement

All our residential trips are inclusive, no matter what your child's health or personal requirements are, we will look after them and include them.

(Most teachers agree that they look after children on residentials better than their own children!)

Residential trips are always to approved and 'fit for purpose' locations, we do not use hotels or hotel style accomodation.
